I just can’t say enough about Qigong these days. I’m grateful that it really seems to be on the rise in people’s awareness. And I hear so many positive comments about how practicing it has changed my students’ lives on both a physical as well as mental/emotional/spiritual level. It involves gentle, effortless movements that don’t look like much from the outside, but are deeply healing internally. I recently read the following in a yoga book, and I think it so applies to Qigong:
“It is very beautiful to follow what the body loves. The body loves gentleness. We are always so rough – especially when it comes to movement. Movement that is born with the breath has beauty.”
