What is Simple Yoga?

Simple Yoga draws from the systems of Gentle Yoga (gentle postures), Acu-Yoga (postures and movements connected with breathing and
self-acupressure), Yin Yoga (long-held deep stretch postures), and Qigong (meditative movement).  Experience the soothing effects of
practicing in a slow, mindful, and simple manner.  This is a great place to start or to deepen your existing practice with a meditative approach.  
Enjoy a delicious treat for your body and your spirit.



What are the benefits?

Simple Yoga quietly and calmly develops strength, balance, and flexibility.  It balances the energy system, while enhancing all the systems of
the body.  Practicing Simple Yoga can help to ease stress and emotion, leaving you feeling calm, balanced, and refreshed.



What do I need?

Simple Yoga is performed on a yoga mat in comfortable clothing you can stretch in.  Mat and props are provided.  You may want to dress in
layers or long sleeves/pants to stay warm throughout the session.
